๐Ÿ“ Lesson #2 - How to Remember Your Dreams (Step One to Lucid Dreaming)

Before you can have a lucid dream, you need to do one important thing first:

Remember your dreams.

If you can’t remember them, you won’t even know if you had a lucid one!

๐Ÿง  Why is dream recall so important?

When you wake up and remember what you dreamed, your brain starts to:

  • Pay more attention to your dreams

  • Get better at noticing patterns (which helps with becoming lucid)

  • Make dreaming feel more vivid and clear

It’s like training a muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it gets.

๐Ÿ“˜ Step-by-Step: How to Remember Your Dreams

1. Set your intention before sleeping

Just say to yourself:

“I will remember my dreams when I wake up.”

Sounds simple, right? But it really helps.

You’re telling your brain: this matters.

2. Keep your phone or journal close

Right beside your bed.

Don’t scroll your phone when you wake up — go straight to your Lucid Dream Journal app and write.

Even if it’s just:

  • A word (“running”)

  • A feeling (“happy”)

  • A color or image (“blue sky”)

Write anything.

3. Stay still when you wake up

When your alarm goes off, don’t move yet.

Stay in bed with your eyes closed for a moment.

Ask yourself:

“What was I just dreaming about?”

Let your mind wander and pull in any memory.

4. Write it down immediately

Open lucid journal app.

Write it down before you forget.

Dreams fade fast — usually within seconds!

Tip: Don’t worry about grammar or spelling. Just get the idea out.

5. Review your dreams once a week

Look back through your journal.

You might start to see:

  • Recurring themes

  • Places or people that show up often

  • Weird events (these are called dream signs)

We’ll use those soon to help you go lucid ๐Ÿ˜‰

✨ Quick Recap

✅ Tell yourself to remember

✅ Don’t move when you wake up

✅ Write something down every day

✅ Review your dreams weekly

๐ŸŒŸ Final Thought

You don’t need perfect memory.

Even a tiny piece of a dream is enough to get started.

This small habit will take you one big step closer to lucid dreaming.

You’re not just learning how to sleep — you’re learning how to explore your inner world.

Sweet dreams ๐ŸŒ™
